Herb Kane came home today. Mahalo, Kuakini!

The Herb Kane giclee, donated by Herb Kane to the Kuakini Hawaiian Civic Club of Kona, and entrusted to me at 2010 Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs convention at the Sheraton Keauhou earlier this month, came home today after being properly framed in koa by Pictures Plus in Pearl City. Wow. Mahalo nui!

Aloha nā Kuakini hoahānau! Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo! It was so fitting that this came home on Thanksgiving Eve. My wife came home from work, plopped into her chair, noticed the Kane and said, “Whoa!”

I am very grateful to you folks. Philip, can you believe that my name was pulled? I about fell down! I had no expectations at all, just wanted to kokua you guys. Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo!

    Aloha,
