Bla Pahinui with his new Hukipau Band rocks Waimanalo at the first annual Gabby Pahinui Waimanalo Kanikapila yesterday. They played a song off a soon-to-be-released CD. I would have bought one on the spot, if I could.
Bla’s band ROCKS! They also did Waimanalo Blues and Moonlight Lady. Hukipau band was the second-to-last group to perform before the Gabby Pahinui Hawaiian Band took the stage to cap the glorious event. Next year, don’t DARE miss it!
